Fire Alarm Training

All training is fully accredited by the Florida State Fire College.

Continuing education Unit (CEU) or continuing education credit (CEC) is a measure used in continuing education programs to assist professionals in maintaining their certification or license in their profession.  All of our classroom training meets the minimum standards for FDICE, NICET, ICC, and NFPA for certification and license renewal. Many other municipalities will accept an approved Certificate of Completion for renewal.



BASIC FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS COURSE - (8 Hours)

The Basic Fire Alarm Systems Course is specifically designed to provide you with the basic knowledge and skills required to correctly identify fire alarm devices and inspect a fire alarm system. Specific material covering the function, operation, and installation of initiating devices and notification appliance circuits based upon the National Fire Alarm Code, NFPA 72, and Life Safety Code 101 is discussed. The unique requirements of both conventional and multiplexing fire alarm circuits are presented. An introduction to audio system requirements in Emergency Voice/Alarm Communications is included. In addition, we offer a complete fire alarm plan review course as well.

BASIC FIRE ALARM PLAN REVIEW COURSE - (8 Hours)

This course will pick up where we left off in the Basic Fire Alarm Systems and concentrate on the same type of devices as before, but focusing solely on plan review and layout of a Fire Alarm Systems. The Basic Fire Alarm Plan Review Course is specifically designed to provide Plans Reviewers and Inspectors the basic knowledge and skills required to correctly conduct a fire alarm plan review on fire alarm systems. Specific material covering the function, operation, and installation of initiating device and notification appliance circuits based upon the National Fire Alarm Code, NFPA 72, and Life Safety Code 101 is discussed
